Human Rights in the Supply Chain

Human Rights in the Supply Chain

Ecopetrol invites partners and suppliers to extend the commitment to respect human rights to its operation and its entire value chain.

Our commitment in the supply chain

Through its internal work regulations in contracted activities, Ecopetrol indicates the labor standards that all suppliers must comply with their workers when carrying out activities for the company.

Through our Human Rights Guide, we expressly express our commitment to respect all Human Rights. The following elements are particularly relevant in the supply chain:

• Decent, favorable and adequate working conditions.

• Freedom of association and collective bargaining.

• Equality in employment and occupation.

• The abolition of any form of child labour.

Human Rights - Suppliers

We work in partnership with our suppliers

Our Operational Executive Vice President, Alberto Consuegra, spoke with our suppliers and contract administrators about good commercial practices in Human Rights in our supply chain, as well as about the risks, challenges, and opportunities that companies have in this area.

Ecopetrol holds Supplier Summits to highlight the importance of handling issues such as respect for the right to unionize and collective bargaining, among others.
